The Denver Office of Drug Strategy (DODS) engages the community in a wide range of expertise in substance use, abuse, addiction and recovery.  In the Southwest Denver region, DODS works with the CPP Southwest Denver Prevention Partners to engage individuals in prevention efforts for youth.  

The Southwest Denver Prevention Partners seeks to create an environment in which individuals have the opportunities, resources, and desires to make healthy decisions.  Our prevention efforts around substance use and abuse aim to increase youth's healthy involvement in their families and neighborhoods.

 

About DODS


The DODS identifies the resources necessary to expand and improve substance abuse services currently being implemented by the providers and provider networks in Denver.  We are working closely with the Denver Drug Strategy Commission (DDSC) to create and implement a comprehensive substance abuse prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery plan for the City & County of Denver. 

DODS exists to engage individuals and organizations in strategies for preventing substance abuse and addiction, as well as treatment for and recovery from substance abuse and addiction.
