The Early Childhood Council of Boulder County (ECCB) is a collaboration of agencies and individuals who recognize that the quality of a child's health, mental health, early learning and family strength is critical for success in school and in life.

Just think ... if all Boulder County shared a vision of young children as a priority. 

It is envisioned that the indicators found on this site and the functionality of ASPIRE will measure the progress of the development of the early childhood system in Boulder County and will serve to communicate the social impact of early childhood initatives to a wide audience of local planners and policy makers.

The Early Childhood Systems Framework brings together numerous community agencies and service providers toward a common mission to expand and improve the comprehensive systems of early childhood services for families in Boulder County.

 


 About Our Site

This is the database of current recommended indicators for the Comprehensive Early Childhood Framework in Boulder County.  Indicators are grouped by four goals:

  • Ready Children;
  • Ready Family;
  • Ready Early Learning;
  • Ready Community and also includes benchmark indicators

 

Definition of Developed Indicators

  • Can be reliably tracked on an annual basis
  • A baseline can be established
  • Represent important aspect of the early childhood system
  • Changes reflect changes in the well-being of Boulder County children and families
  • Are statistically relvant to Boulder County
  • Are standardized
  • Have valid numerators/denominators
  • Are easily accessed
  • Can be influenced by public policy
  • Are easily understood by the residents of Boulder County, decision makers and ECE community
